Our mission is to help you have great days by offering you a key ingredient to help you optimize your gut health.

We are a family owned and operated business based in Nova Scotia, Canada.  Customers have been enjoying our Coconut Milk Kefir for over 10 years in Nova Scotia, and now we are expanding nationally!  

I'm Michelle...myself and my husband Andrew mostly steer this ship with the help of some dedicated individuals who offer skills that are not in our wheelhouse.  I had been using an earlier iteration of our brand for years while offering it to customers in my wellness store and knew how many people had been positively impacted by it, including me!  When Leona, the original producer, approached me about purchasing the business in 2020, I was both honored and excited.  I knew that this product was incredible, but that my entrepreneurial background along with my passion for my customers' well-being was just what it needed.  I knew that I could help it reach the masses and really make a difference in people's lives.

After some research and deliberation, I enlisted the expertise of my husband Andrew to help bring this dream to reality...we kept mostly the original recipe, updated the branding...and so was the beginning of NovAlive Health.

 

Our Team:

Michelle MacPhee, CEO, offers to NovAlive Health her passion for wellness and self-care as well as her mission to bring health and happiness to the people around her.  Michelle excels at building strong relationships and has a deep commitment to serving the people she works with, whether that be retail customers, wholesale clients, staff, suppliers or other business partners.  Michelle's passion for wellness and self-care directly aligns with NovAlive's mission to help people have great days.

 

 

Andrew MacPhee, COO, brings his analytical mind and a strong understanding of the technicalities needed to produce kefir.  From the equipment and ingredients we use, to the fine details of fermentation, Andrew keeps our operations running smoothly from the kitchen to the consumer and everything in between!
